We are excited to present The Last Five Years, a fascinating, one-act, two-person musical that introduces us to Jamie, an aspiring novelist who rises quickly to fame and Cathy, an aspiring actress, who doesn’t. It follows the lovers’ relationship from beginning to end in a series of solitary moments, each from their own perspective, and with two opposing timelines. In the skillful hands of Tony Award Winner Jason Robert Brown, this chamber musical is free of the elements you would usually find in a Broadway musical. In its place you’ll find something poignant, intimate, and undeniably endearing.
