Two years have passed since Covid came and kept us from visiting family and friends but finally the time has come for us to join and enjoy our favourite relative- our very own Mamma Mia!who is waiting to hug you, charm you and make you laugh.

In your absence, the cast has kept her alive via Zoom, but now it is time for us to get her properly ready to receive her extended family- you, her wonderful audience. We should have her up, presentable and even radiant by the May 31st Preview and the Run, June 2nd - 19th -which means you will be able to come and visit, enjoy her laughs, comfort her tears (not that many) and thrill when she (and her fellow cast members) burst into song. If you’re lucky she and you may be surprised by a sudden appearance of that other long lost relative, Pappa Mia!

One way or another, you as audience and extended family, will revel at seeing her at the Theatre Guild this Spring. Be prepared to laugh joyously and even hum along to her gorgeous songs.

Mamma Mia! Performances Postponed

As a consequence of an outbreak of COVID-19 in the cast and crew of Mamma Mia! the BTG has been obliged to postpone a number of the scheduled performances of Mamma Mia!

This postponement allows us to accomplish two things:

1) grant time to the cast and crew who are symptomatic (none severe to date!) to recover and

2) apply the applicable COVID-19 protocols to suppress the continuation of the outbreak.  This will include a deep clean of the theatre.

To this end the performances scheduled for  June 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 have been postponed. New dates will be announced once we receive word of continuation.

For all of those who will be returning to the theatre note that the BTG Board has now established a policy that masks shall be worn by everyone present in the Pinnacle Playhouse included audience, house staff, cast and crew.  The only exception to this rule is that masks are not required by actors that are on-stage as part of the performance.

We hope to see you soon.

Stay safe and healthy.
