  • Sunday, November 3, 2 pm
  • Monday, November 4, 7 pm

This award winning play by acclaimed Newfoundland Playwright, Robert Chafe, chronicles the life of Nurse Myra Bennett who arrived on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland in the 1920's on a two year contract ending up staying for seventy years. Through her struggles to provide health services to such a wild and forbidding coastline, we learn about community and what it means to belong.

This is an actor driven play and will be the Belleville Theatre Guild's entry in the EODL Full Length Festival.

The play runs from January 30th to February 15th, 2020.

Auditions take place on November 3rd at 2 pm and November 4th at 7pm in the Green Room of the Pinnacle Playhouse.

No advanced preparation or prior acting experience is required. Auditions will consist of readings from the play.
